For five years I had the privilege to build and lead Rapha’s Custom and Bespoke design department. Working closely with the industry’s biggest Athletes, Wholesalers, Teams, and independent stores to deliver a truly unique custom experience.
Building briefs directly with clients to create their dream custom kit. Aiming to constantly push the boundaries of print on apparel and influencing the cycling market.
We also partnered with UNMADE to build the industry’s first online ‘self-service’ tool where customers could design their kit. Unmade’s technology solution for team-wear delivered a seamless process from design to manufacture, allowing brands to maintain brand identity for custom products and provide users with an interactive design experience.
My role was to provide art direction for the tools UX and UI and design all pattern and logo features found within the tool.
